Live Ice Carving Demonstrations

We have professional ice carvers available to give a live deomonstration of ice carving at your function. Intrigue your audience as they watch an ice sculpture come to life before their eyes!

We can carve a range of items, uniquely tailored to your event, including logos, words, or objects to suit your theme. We will answer questions and explain techniques to the audience.

There are a few things that need to be considered before booking a live demonstration:
*Ice carving is VERY LOUD as the primary tool is a chainsaw.
*Ice carving produces a LOT of ice-chips, water run-off, and snow, which sprays several metres. The debris needs to be cleared out of the way during the performance.
*Ice carving can be performed indoors or outdoors, and is best performed on a floor surface that is non-slippery when wet, and that can withstand being soaked with water. Carpet is not suitable!
*We are fully covered for demonstration carving by our Public Liability insurance.
*For safety reasons, we require an exclusion zone that we can tape off with barrier tape so that bystanders cannot be injured. We wear hearing protection when using the chainsaw and it is too easy to be unaware of someone walking up from behind.
*Once we finish the carving it can go on immediate display. However, the carving will not last as well as a usual piece since it has not been placed into our "hardening"-30 degree freezer after carving.
