Initials Oyster Bar

Love is in the air...

With Valentine's day just over, there's a lot of romance in the air and I expect those of us in the bridal industry will be getting busy soon catering for those couples who have just got engaged.

We have a couple of new designs that have already proven very popular in the bridal market, and best of all they are customisable for your clients.

The Coloured Initials with Buffet Bar (for Seafood, Chocolates or strawberries etc), pictured left, has the bride and groom's initials in flowing font in their colour, and room for buffet items around the base. And of course it can be used for corporate logos as well.

Champagne Luge

Popular new design - Champagne Luge

Introducing a new design ice sculpture that is a huge hit with brides and grooms... the Champagne Luge.

The bride and groom's first name initials are entwined with a heart and detailed with white snow. The bride and groom pour their wedding toast through their ice sculpture and watch it run through the letters and heart.

Ahhhh... how romantic!

Some couples then keep the sculpture purely for display, while others have their guests use it as well for their drinks. All in all, a very versatile piece.

We have also added other new designs on our New Products page so please check it out!

Ice Wedding Cake

Another New Design

For those couples wanting something different for their wedding cake, we have the Ice Wedding Cake.

This cake can be made with any silk flowers and yes, the flowers are in the cake, not on it. Backlit with a pink spotlight, it looks good enough to eat.

Price Freeze

2008 Price Freeze!

In recognition of the downturn in the economy, we are having a price freeze. Our prices are staying at the 2008 price until further notice.

If you or your clients are planning an event even next year, if you book and pay a 20% deposit we will lock in last year's prices. It doesn't get much better than that.

60th Sapporo Snow Festival

The Wide World of Ice

While we have been sweltering in summer heat, it is freezing cold in the northern hemisphere and that's when the international ice and snow competitions come along.

Pictured left is the Sapporo Snow Festival, held in Japan every February.

Have a look on their website at some of the sculptures that it is possible to make in snow and ice when the ambient temperature is minus 10 degrees rather than 40 degrees plus like in Sydney.
